FEBRUARY 2024

2024 has kicked off & is heading into being a great year...because of you!

Thank You for your continued business!

We put a lot of time in last year to bring you the best in photos, video, platforms & communication, & you're still here.

We truly love what we do & for you to trust our services to represent your client & business makes incredibly grateful.

What's been going?

In January, we launched the new platform. Check it out if you haven't yet. It's super easy & provides some great content for your listings.

We celebrated alongside Granbury Association of Realtors to recognize their new board & award winners. Late January, we celebrated again in recognizing the best of business by the Granbury Chamber of Commerce.

Mid February we captured the Alliance for Children's Bingo Par-Tea & an event we've enjoyed doing for a few years now. It's always fun to be involved with the fundraiser and the theme & this year it was an Alice in Wonderland Tea Party & the ladies did not disappoint!

WHAT'S COMING UP!

We now have 4 photographers on our team! 2 in Fort Worth, 1 in Dallas & me here in Granbury. I will be heading out of town at the end of February through the first of March but will be back & ready to work on the 5th. I do have a backup if needed so don't hesitate to ask!

Also, at the end of April through the first of May I will be out of town for the annual continuing education class I attend. April 26th to May 3rd I will be unavailable. I will be able to reply to texts or emails & I will have our team in DFW still available.

Spring is right around the corner! Are you ready? I feel like spring is already here with these high 70 & 80 temps we've been having.

Here are a few tips to encourage your upcoming listings in preparing for their home & maybe some for you too!

CLEAN OUT THOSE GUTTERS!

Fall is done, winter is done (according to Punxsutawney Phil) & with March Winds & April Showers ahead, take advantage of the warm weather & clear the gutters of leaves & debris to avoid clogs.

REPLACE AIR FILTERS.

The AC will be kicking on soon so change out your air filters for a fresh start to the warm weather ahead.

CLEAN OUT YOUR DRYER VENT

Yes, this is also a fire hazard. Pull back the dryer, clean the lint around & in the dryer. Sometimes that catch doesn't snag it all. I like to use my lint & put it in toilet paper or paper towel rolls & save them for fire starters in our wood burning fire place.

DECLUTTER YOUR GARAGE, ATTIC OR ANY OTHER STORAGE SPACE

Who wants to move old cans of paint, oil, bricks, pieces of lumber, etc. If you're like me, you told yourself, you'll use it...one day. Time to let it go. Dispose of them properly of course so reach out to your sanitation company or city & find out what is the proper way. Donate items you no longer use, such as old Christmas decorations & any toys the kids no longer play with. I call it "Marie Kondo" it. Look at it, love it, cherish the memory & let it go.

GET YOUR GARDEN PREPARED

Now is the time to get some fertilizer down. Research what is best for your lawn & prepare for an application. Cut back dead bushes such as lantana, butterfly bush, etc.

WASH OF YOUR PATIO FURNITURE

If you haven't already been able to spend some time outside, it's coming soon! Clean off your cushions & wipe down your chairs & tables. Before you know it, it will be time to grill & enjoy the sunsets!

PURGE YOUR REFRIGERATOR

Do you have anything left over from the holidays? I just found a bag of cranberries I never used. Fortunately they were not too gross! Check on your dressings & other condiments. It may be time for a refresh.

WASH YOUR WINDOW SCREENS

If you're like me, I enjoy opening up the windows for fresh air but I don't want the dirt that's collected in my house so give them a wash soon.

Hopefully these little pre-spring cleaning tips will help you get started to enjoy the warm weather & extra daylight coming soon as well as for any of. your clients to prepare their home for their photos & potential buyers when visiting.
